Key Functions of the Hik-Connect App
Add a device to Hik-Connect
Step 1:ย Install Hik-connect app and register yourself to proceed. Enter yourย mobile or email,ย set a strong passwordย and follow verification code steps.
Step 2: ย In the app, tap +ย (Add device) โ Scan QR Code.ย Or simply click the button ย Add Device ย
On the device (or its label) find the QR code / serial number. Scan it.
Follow on-screen prompts and wait for device online status
ย 2. Remote Live View
Step 1:ย Like what is shown above, you just need to click ย to view remotely
ย
Step 2:ย You can choose which camera to view full screen or all 4 of them
3. Playback and Back Up
Step 1:ย Click the Playbackย button below the display
Step 2: Drag the red line on which part you want to playback and back up and then click download.
Step 3:ย Go toย Meย tab then clickย Personal Albumย to view the surveillance.
4. Sharing Deviceย
Step 1: ย In theย Homeย tab click theย + sign to share the access on the system
Step 2: Choose whether it's a User or Service Provider
Step 3: Choose between sharing via QR Code or scan QR Code
Step 4: After scanning clickย Accept in the user's phone
Step 5:ย Clickย Back to Home and then from there you can access everything that the admin shared with you.
